LEE KENNELS
Our females at Lee Kennels have all shown the ability and desire that I look for in a brood matron, they have all been hunted on liberated and wild birds just like our males have. I also breed a new brood matron to a male that I know will produce, therefore I find out early on how they are as producers. I normally do not keep a female past 4yrs. old, because I always have young ones to take their place. So all of my females are broke and hunted before they are bred.

Lee's Elhew April---April was purchase from Bodarc kennel in 2005. She was late being started on game, but she will be used this year bird hunting, both wild and hopefully to guide some hunts. April shows a lot of independence and desire around game. |

Brent's Dixie Girl---I sold Dixie to a good friend of mine at Mountain View Hunting Preserve here in Alabama, as soon as he started training her for the preserve he realized that she was not going to be happy hunting at a range suitable for the type of hunting that he does. So I was able to get her back and use her at the kennel for hunting and raising pups. Dixie is a product of Lee's Heartbeat and Lee's Rambling Hope (you can see Hope on the gone but not forgotten page) this cross produced many fine birddogs. |
